Amina Health Alliance Praises South Sudan’s Firm Stand on Health at WHO Regional Committee Meeting

Hon. Sarah Cleto Rial, the Minister of Health for the Republic of South Sudan, recently shared insights from her participation at the 75th World Health Organization (WHO) Regional Committee Meeting for Africa, held in Lusaka, Zambia.

Her message emphasized key priorities for South Sudan and the region, including strengthening health financing, promoting universal health coverage, investing in innovation, and enhancing resilience against emergencies. She also highlighted the importance of domestic resource mobilization, strong leadership, public–private partnerships, and regional solidarity.

At Amina Health Alliance, we welcome this vision with great optimism. It aligns perfectly with our mission and values to connect government, private sector, and communities in advancing sustainable health solutions for South Sudan.

We stand ready, as allies, to collaborate closely with the Ministry of Health, development partners, and private stakeholders to turn these goals into reality. Through innovation, teamwork, and shared responsibility, together we can build a healthier and more resilient South Sudan.
